Choose ONPO by bath compatibility first, clear versus cloudy water second, and fragrance last. Kodawari Yuzu is the clear-water option here; Zeitaku Torori Nigori-yoku Citrus is the cloudy option, with extra equipment and cleaning cautions.

I’m Irene, a Taiwanese pharmacist licensed in Japan and working in a Japanese drugstore. This guide turns Japanese package names into a buying checklist. It is not a hands-on bath test or a ranking of which fragrance has the strongest effects.
Japanese official information checked: October 21, 2026. Scope: these two current products only, not the entire ONPO range.
Two citrus boxes, two different bath types
Clear: Kodawari Yuzu, 20 tablets
Japanese name: 温泡 こだわりゆず 20錠入

Four yuzu fragrances, five tablets each, with coloured but transparent water. Kudzu and ginger extracts are moisturising ingredients; Kito yuzu oil is part of the fragrance.
Shortlist this when you do not want a milky bath. Clear does not mean fragrance-free or universally compatible with bath equipment.
Cloudy: Zeitaku Torori Nigori-yoku Citrus, 12 tablets
Japanese name: 温泡 贅沢とろりにごり浴 柑橘 12錠入

Four citrus-and-yuzu fragrances, three tablets each, with cloudy water. The manufacturer highlights hyaluronic acid, shea butter, collagen and ceramide as moisturising ingredients.
Consider it for a cloudy bath—not because a longer ingredient list proves better hydration or suitability for sensitive skin.
Check the bath before choosing a scent
Neither product is for natural-marble tubs. The cloudy product specifically says some fully automatic water-heater and 24-hour circulating-bath models cannot use it: consult your model’s manual. It also warns about slippery surfaces and white residue requiring cleaning, including circulation filters.
Our decision order: tub material → equipment model and additive restrictions → water appearance → scent. In a hotel or unfamiliar rental, ask the operator first. Not knowing the equipment is a reason to check, not a reason to assume compatibility.
Dose, children and skin: do not chase the bubbles
For either box, use one tablet per 200 litres and let it dissolve fully before bathing. Keep your face away from the fizzing tablet because it may cause coughing. The brand FAQ explains that carbon dioxide remains after visible fizz ends; do not add extra tablets just to restore the bubbles. Do not mix with other bath additives.
The brand FAQ describes use with babies from approximately three months old and older children—not blanket suitability for newborns, or a guarantee that every baby above that age can use it. Consult a doctor first for abnormal skin or constitutional conditions. Stop and consult a doctor if rash, redness, itching or irritation develops. Store tablets beyond the reach of children and people needing supervision.
Shared active ingredients do not make the products interchangeable
Both are Japanese quasi-drugs with sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate and dried sodium sulfate as active ingredients. This comparison does not rank medicinal performance by cloudiness, fragrance or tablet count.
For an everyday purchase, compatible equipment, a fragrance you want and an acceptable cost per bath are more useful criteria than an unsupported “strongest” label. Divide the actual box price by 20 or 12 for a per-tablet comparison, then check the full product name. Do not transfer instructions from older packs, other sizes or ONPO Kids. We have not tested fragrance longevity or personal effects, and do not guarantee stock availability.
